Thrusting Out Labourers
Then He said to His disciples, The harvest is
indeed plentiful, but the laborers are few. 38 So pray to the Lord of the
harvest to force out and thrust laborers into His harvest. Matthew
9:37-38 AMP
We are not only to pray for laborers to be thrust out into the harvest fields,
but to BE the laborers that are thrust out. Some people pray that God will give
them a burden for the lost, but you can’t wait until you FEEL like going to talk
to people about Jesus, you have to just decide to do it because it is the right
thing to do. The Lord has already asked you—in His Word—to do it. Why do you
need another invitation?
But all things are from God, Who through Jesus
Christ reconciled us to Himself [received us into favor, brought us into harmony
with Himself] and gave to us the ministry of reconciliation [that by word and
deed we might aim to bring others into harmony with Him]. 19 It was God
[personally present] in Christ, reconciling and restoring the world to favor
with Himself, not counting up and holding against [men] their trespasses [but
cancelling them], and committing to us the message of reconciliation (of the
restoration to favor). 20 So we are Christ’s ambassadors, God making His appeal
as it were through us. We [as Christ’s personal representatives] beg you for His
sake to lay hold of the divine favor [now offered you] and be reconciled to
God. 2 Corinthians 5:18-20 AMP
People are so hung up on titles. A title doesn’t make you any more anointed or
able to do the will of God. On the other hand, if you are not called into
full-time ministry, you are not entitled to just coast through life, thinking
only of yourself. Not all of us are called to preach from a pulpit, but EVERY
one of us is called to represent Jesus to the world. We are Christ’s
ambassadors—His personal representatives.
Our ministry focus has always been on souls—to restore the backslider back into
fellowship with God and to introduce the world to Jesus. In the last few years,
the Lord has laid on our hearts the urgency of the hour and has called us to
raise up an army of soul-winners. This is the reason we have especially focused
on America and launched the Great Awakening Tour. We are called to light a fire
in every city we go to. When we leave it is up to the local Church—the people
not just the organization —to keep the fire burning in their city. We have been
very encouraged by the people who have faithfully continued to win souls in
their area!

the power of God’s Word and the power of the Holy Spirit to do the work of

are not called to minister to heads—you are called to minister to hearts! Just
step out in obedience and faith and trust the Lord to do the work. Together, we
will see the power of God shake America! We will see a Great Awakening in our
land!
